Fellow Blogees,
Continuing in award season has been great fun for all concerned, we're sure you'll agree. This week was the turn of the BRITs, and boy, was it FUN. So fun, infact, we thought we'd pick our fave outfits of the night. So kick back, relax and have a look at some pretty people.
First up on the list of love is Cara Delevigne in Saint Laurent. We loved this unique approach to a red carpet. More understated and less try hard. I mean she could wear a bin liner and probably still pull it off, but needless to say, we like it a lot.
Next up is Ellie Goulding. Admiting herself she looked very bridal, but still, we really liked the airy-fairy waftiness (technical terms galore) of this dress. It had a very wimsical and delicate feel to the gown with all the intricate embroidery, showing a softer side of the typical tomboy.
Fearne Cotton rocked up in this AMAZING number. We're a tad obsessed with this dress, everything from the shape to the material to the beading. We're yet to find out who made this beautiful creation, but should we find out, we'll be purchasing one just to do our revision in, IT'S THAT GOOD. We've since found out Fearne is pregnant with baby number 2, so major congrats are in order, for the baby and the dress. Obviously.
Fearne's BFF Holly Wills showed up in a Alice and Olivia dream. We really like this too, the colour scheme is fun and it's a great alternative to a little black dress.
Jessie Ware wore this delightful Miu Miu full length gown. Again, we love this. She looks elegant and sophisticated, and the colours add drama to a fun filled occasion. It also has a slight grecian feel about it, which is always a classic look to rock.
The amazing but slightly over emotional Paloma Faith arrived in a Georgio Armani gown. There was a lot of black and red going on, but everyone handled it well. We love the net of the dress which adds more texture and patten. The dress was far from conventional, which represents Paloma perfectly. We always salute bravery.
Tay Tay Swift also sported a red and black dragon combo from Roberto Cavalli. Again, it was another brave choice, but hey, Taylor loves taking risks doesn't she? What a woman. She sported it effortlessly (as much as it pains us to say), and she seemed to enjoy the night with pals Ellie, Cara and Ed. Oh, to know those guys by first name, so showbiz.
So that concludes our BRITs sum up. We really enjoyed the show (from our sofas obviously) and we can't wait for next year!
Love always,
