London Fashion Week A/W 2015

Last week we recounted the great events of NYFW. This week, was the turn of our own capital to show the rest of the world what Britain has to offer.

Burberry - pics from Vogue
First up is the ever so savvy Burberry. Burberry Prorsum created a real visual feast for the eyes, using lots of deep colours such as deep blues, reds and magentas. The offerings had a real bo-ho feel, with lots of floaty chiffions and tactile fringing. Overall, a nod to the  festival goers.

Erdem - pics from Vogue
Erdem decided to stick with the deep purples and reds too, and paired most of the looks with knee high boots. Impressive, soon as they're not very forgiving footwear to try and rock. The garments had an amazing volumptious filled quality to them in metallic, wallpaperesk type print. Poor description, but still, amazing all the same.

Mulberry - pics from Vogue
Particular love for Mulberry. There was a wide variety of thick woolen coats for next winter. They stuck with a grey and black theme which as far as we're concerned, that's always a dead cert winner. There was also a major use of the check print, which is a classic, easy to wear print.

Emilia Wickstead - pics from Vogue
Lastly, Emilia Wickstead didn't disappoint. There was lots of poofy skirts with a colour scheme of nudes and shades of duckegg. The whole show feels very elegant and femine. Lovely!

Hope you enjoyed LFW everyone!

Until next time,

LLB x
