First up are these Houndstooth print trousers. The red print makes them an updated classic, perfect for an alternative and more practical outfit to a more formal occasion.
Next up are these Chelsea Boots. Chelsea Boots are great for the colder weather as they're practical and weatherproof, but still classic and sophisticated weekend wear. The buckle detail makes these a little different and gives them a fresh lick of paint for the new season.
You might have noticed that we're liking loafers at the moment, and these make a great alternative to the ones from Topshop featured on Monday's post. The colour is a great alternative to black whilst still looking smart (although you can get them in black too if you prefer!) and the tassel detail just adds to the cuteness!
This jumper is just adorable! We all love a slogan knit come autumn, and what could be a better one to back than 'Love to love'? Love is what makes the world go round after all, so why not be proud of it? It's bound to instantly put a smile on your face every time you wear it!
This jacket is great for autumn as it's what we would call "inbetweeny". Basically, it's a great throw on over anything if the weather suddenly turns, or those summer nights aren't quite what the weatherman predicted. Th colour is great as it will pretty much work with anything and could be used again in spring, so deffo worth an investment!
This check cape is stylish and functional. We've featured quite a few capes so we won't bore you again with all their plus points, but if you are going to purchase one, this could be the one for you! And you can double it up as a scarf, win win.
Final item from River Island is this day dress. We really like the classic A-Line shape as it's flattering for all body types and will create a tiny waist! The print is good too, as it will hide a multitude of sins! Perfect with or without tights, this dress could get you out of many style holes!
